2009 Nissan Murano Review

The newly released 2009 Nissan Murano combines the elevated seating position and the versatility of a sport utility vehicle into its driving attributes.  The Murano’s spacious interior and classy sculptural lines really stand out when compared to other vehicles in its class, and the Nissan Murano has been one of Nissan’s best-selling SUV’s for years.  The rounded edges on the Nissan Murano actually work as a mask hiding the crossover’s massive size, yet it is due to its size that the Nissan Murano can handle a surprising amount of cargo, as well as provide adequate passenger space inside. The 2009 Murano hosts subtle changes in the form of mechanical and interior upgrades, plus the new smooth operation on this country’s roadways.

The Nissan Murano comes in three models - Murano S, Murano SL, and the Murano LE, all sporting 3.5 liter - 265 @ 6000 HP / 248 @ 4400 torque V6 engines.  The starting price of the base model, Murano S, is around $37,648.00.

Some of the features found in the Nissan Murano, 3.5 liter base model, include front engine intuitive all wheel drive, vented front disc brakes, rear disc brakes, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), automatic on/off headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust with single chrome tip finishers, UV reducing solar glass, front and rear splash guards, 16” steel wheels with bolt on wheel covers, full-size spare tire, tire pressure monitoring system, Nissan intelligent key with push button ignition, air conditioning with in-cabin micro filter, rear passenger floor vents, power windows, power door locks with auto locking feature, remote keyless entry with trunk release, cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls, fine vision gauges, trip computer with multiple displays, tilt and telescope steering column, speed sensitive variable intermittent flat-blade wipers, 12 volt DC power outlets (2) and retained accessory power, seating for five, 6 way manual adjustable driver’s seat, cloth seats, metallic-tone trim, 60/40 split fold down rear seatbacks (sedan with lock), rear fold down centre armrest, am/fm/cd audio system with 4 speakers, auxiliary audio input jack, Nissan advanced airbag system (AABS) with dual stage supplemental front airbags with seat belt sensors, driver and front passenger seat mounted side impact bags, roof mounted curtain airbag, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, cargo area tie down hooks, large glove compartment and multi-functional storage compartments, active front-seat head restraints, immobilizer key system, anti-theft system, as well as numerous other safety features.

Size of stock steering wheel in 2005 Nissan Altima?

I look through my owners manual and could not find anything about the size of the steering wheel. If anyone has an Altima or just knows the size in inches like 14 inches or whatever it would be greatly appreciated.
I asking this because I wanna buy a steering wheel cover online so I wanna know if it will fit.

what difference does the size of the steering wheel make? It cannot be replaced with anything else because it has to have an AIR BAG. the width of my lap top Monotor is 14" and that seems right. Just what would you do if the steering wheel was not up to your specification? Go drive the car if you like it take along a measuring tape.
