Decking Screws - How To Install?
Constructing a deck can successfully add a great appeal and character to a home. It provides an extra space where one can seek peace of mind and relaxation. In order to ensure that that your deck is properly installed and lasts long, you must use decking screws that have superior quality. Using decking screws instead of nails can be a better alternative as screws can assure greater support in the long term.
A decking bolt is different from the other types as it is stronger and resistant to rust. They are usually coated to prevent any reaction with chemical solutions applied on paint, stain, water and wood. Generally, stainless steel screws of superior quality are used to manufacture decking bolts. They can be used for projects other than decks. They find their uses in several indoor projects like putting up a drywall, reattaching a sidewall or installing a mailbox.
If installed properly, decking screws can prove to be very versatile. Here are a few guidelines that may be useful for installing deck screws.
1. Place the board on top of the deck frame and mark the top of the board to indicate the exact point where each base board is located beneath the deck planks.

5. Try to make sure that the screws are not too high or too low on the board.
6. The bolts should be roughly at the same distance apart.
7. The ultimate aim is to install the decking screws as if they are not noticeable. This helps in enhancing the appeal of the board.

How does bioplast tongue jewelry differ in use and quality than the typical steel?
So I'm trying to decide what kind of jewelry to buy since I recently got my tonuge pierced. I have a metal allergy (altho the intial piercing bar doesn't seem to be causing any issues). I've come across bioplast bars? It seems advantageous with it's light weight and flexibility...not to mention there's no problem with allergies. However, is it any good? Does it stay screwed? Are steel or acrylic balls better? So many options....my brain hurts...
i have a few bioplast tongue rings and i like them better than the metal/acrylic rings. it doesnt hurt as much if you accidentally bite down on it and its not as bad for your teeth as the other ones
and yes they stayed screwed. i've never had a problem with my bioplast rings.
