Can anyone share a sewing pattern to make a foot warmer?
I am looking for a pattern to sew a foot warmer that looks a lot like a giant slipper for both feet. The base is basically a padded cusion and on the top is flap you can slide your feet under to keep them warm. The one I saw was made of fleecy fabric and was purchased at a craft sale. Unless you really need the detailed instructions and such, however, those would be really simple to make for yourself. Determine a good size for the whole thing and cut out the pieces for the cushion cover, with or without zipper as you prefer. Then you measure to see how much fabric you'll need to cover those feet of yours. Check the length and the width. Add a little for seam allowances. Make one edge the length of the end of the cushion cover. The other end should be the length you'll need to cover your feet. Hem the longest edge. The other three sides will be sewn into the cushion cover. Then sew up the middle so you have a spot for each foot. Complete your cushion cover, add cushion, and enjoy.
