Improving a Used Flexo Press with the Servo 3000 System
The Servo 3000 Digital Infeed + Re-register system made by Rotary Technologies can make a used Flexo press work like new. For a fraction of what a printer will pay for a new Flexographic press he can add the bolt on, portable, plug and play Servo 3000. This is a digital product that reliably results in less material waste throughout a print job. It allows a used Flexo press to print double and triple its color capacity. Because the Servo 3000 Digital Infeed + Re-register system precisely re-registers the web it can allow a press to take work from another press to add colors, fix mistakes, print muli-layer labels and much more. This 100% digital and servo driven product can make a used press perform like new. Users typically notice better color registration on first pass printing.
Using the Servo 3000 bypasses the infeed gear train as well as the existing infeed/pacing cylinder. Bypassing used and worn mechanical gears and gear boxes with the Servo 3000 eliminates backlash and gives the press much more precise tracking.
When a printer has preprinted rolls printed by other resources he can use a press fitted with the Servo 3000 to precisely re-register the web to print additional colors or whatever the job might be.
