need help i can't figure out how to get the rest of my rear diff out of my 97 chevy 1500?
How do you take the rear diff out of a 1997 Chevrolet 1500 and when i went to take the pinion shaft out i had to knock it out and it got stuck in the diff housing and i don't know what to do?
If your talking about the pin that holds the spider gears in,it should almost slide out just by pushing it with you finger.If its stuck against the housing,you'll have to pry it back.
Honestly,if your just getting started,you should try to find some help from someone thats done rearend work before.
