Aircraft Ground Marshalling?

How do I become an Aircraft Ground Marshaller? You know, the people that direct the jets out on the flightline...? I used to be in the Navy, and I worked in the Aviation field but as a paper pusher, but I did get put on the flight deck to be what they call a "Plane Captain Trainee" and I LOVED working with the Prowlers, so now that I'm out I want to be back on the flightline...what do I have to do to get a job/schooling to do the same thing for airports?

Go to the Local FBO or local air carrier operation at your local airport and ask if they need any "rampers." Then fill out an applicant... it's actually pretty simple, if there is a job open well that's another story...

But be warned, Marshaling is not the only task you will have to do... loading bags, refueling, de-ice, etc.... are all part of working the ramp too...

Good luck to ya...
