How to Charge Your iPad 2 Quickly
Wanting to charge your iPad quicker? Ok, that's not a tough job any more. Lithium-polymer battery is used in iPad 2 as used in an iPhone. The battery itself consumes a huge space inside and that's the way how it can support watching of movies, listening to music for around 10 hours long without any break. But often, recharging process takes a bit more of your valuable time. So, here I will try to solve the problem for you writing the steps by which you can charge your iPad 2 much quicker..
USB Port
The new iPad 2 takes comparatively more time to re-charge than the previous ones. So, it doesn't charges well and quickly unless you can provide them a good power source. In many laptops, one USB port can supply more power than another. So, you can test different ports in your laptop.
Apple's MacBook Air has a specially designed USB port which can be used for DVD drive. If you have a laptop with that technology, I think it's not a bad idea to use that for re-charging your iPad battery.

10USB Power Adapter
10W USB to AC power adapter is added with your iPad 2 by Apple. And till now there is no other system that can charge your iPad 2 quicker than this. Plugging of the 30-pin Dock is required. Now, the adapter should be plugged in by the USB connector. It can be plugged in a wall socket also. If you want, then you can also secure an extended adapter from Apple.
Battery Packs
A little investment for buying the battery charger pack is a wise job. Specially, for the people who are always on a move. These are big packs which can be plugged into by 30 Pin Dock connectors. They promptly transfer their charge to your iPad. Their power depends on their size. So, be wise while buying it.
Give Your Battery a Monthly Cycle
This is a good technique, I think. For this, you need to do nothing but let your iPad shut down for itself due to the lack of charge. It's your job to make its charge as low as 0%. Then you charge it again fully to 100%. This will be considered as a Monthly Cycle of your battery. It increases the longevity of your battery.
If these steps can be followed with great care, then a long life of your battery can be expected. And these are the best methods to charge your battery quicker than you ever did it!

Does the redesigned (newest) macbook's (not pro) battery have the ability to be removed?
I read that the redesigned macbook (not pro) has a "built-in lithium-polymer battery" that charges up to 7 hours. That's great, but if it breaks can I remove it? or switch batteries without sending in the computer? Thanks for your help!
No, the new MacBook (re) design with the built-in battery cannot be user serviced. It needs to be replaced and/or serviced by an authorized Apple professional.
If you take care of your MacBook (or any laptop), the battery should last you more than 3 to 5 years. Follow the steps directed by Apple on their website on how to care for your battery. Don't keep it plugged in all the time either. Once a month, drain your battery all the way then charge it all the way up.
As in any laptop, battery life depends on usage. I suggest that you also purchase Apple Care Protection Plan before the first year is over to cover for any problems your battery or any parts may pose. It will be worth it since batteries and/or parts are expensive and you will need the MacBook to be opened for the service to be done as well.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
