The Office Season 7 Episode 10 China Synopsis
When Michael read an article about the growing global power of China, decided that China must be stopped before taking over the U.S. When everyone in the office complaining of construction standards Dwight, Pam threatens to move to a different building.
With so many jobs taking place in office buildings, this television series that is based on the Ricky Gervais created BBC series, takes aim at that and other aspects of the modern American workplace. Steve Carrell leads a large cast of talented actors that succeed in creating a smart, silly comedy that works.
Carrell is Michael Scott, the dim-witted boss of paper company Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, Pennsylvania branch. Rainn Wilson is Scott's odd second in command Dwight Shrute, a man who prides himself on knowledge of survival techniques and bears. Jim Krasinski is Jim Halpert, a salesman who has a crush on Pam(Jenna Schafer), the receptionist. These are only a few of the major characters in the ongoing, hilarious saga of Scranton at work.
Several story lines can take place in the course of a single episode, giving the show more chances at laughs. In one episode, for example, there are conflicts between members of the Party Planning Committee, Michael's usual antics of procrastination, and the secrets of two characters's affair. These just make the show more original than ones that have a single narrative.
After 7 seasons, this series is still going strong! This is one of the best comedic series on TV in my opinion. I'd say you have to have a certain kind of humor to get into this show, and also it's the type of show you can't miss the first couple seasons then start getting into it.... you needed to follow this from the beginning to understand each cast members humor. Steve Carell does a great job as the role of 'Michael Scott' as the boss of the office & really carries the show.... close behind his character is Rainn Wilson's character 'Dwight', and really either one could be the #1 character on the show....besides them, Jim and Pam are fan favorites.. I also like B.J Novak's character in the show & feel the show should include him more.... a character who has grown on me in the last couple seasons is Bernard (the 'nard dog'), and since his most recent movie blew up big time (The Hangover), I think the writers will include him in a lot more skits on the show.... I think it was a great idea for them to get Jim out of the co-manager role on the show, and bring him back on the sales floor.... let's cross our fingers for 7 more seasons!
