remote starter brake wire question?
Ok i have my nitro car starter and alarm the starter portion hooked up and now it starts fine but doesnt shut off hmm im guessing its the brake wire so i hook up the brake wire which is tan and white on my 97 stratus you know you hit the brake and it is deactivated well it doesnt work what am i doing wrong?

this vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System, the LOCK requires a (+)Positive thru a 620 Ohm Resistor and the UNLOCK requires a (+)Positive thru a 2700 Ohm Resistor, some units will also require 2 extra relays to connect.
You need to verify polarity coming out of your alarm system to ensure that the brake wire is Positive, if it is indeed positive then it should be hooked correctly.
If the unit is sending a negative signal, then you have to change polarity via a 30 amp relay. If that is the case then your brake wire of the alarm will go 86, 12v+ to pin 85 & 30, then 87 will connect to your white/tan
