Which rc nitro truck is better, T-Maxx 3.3 or Associated Monster GT 8.0?
Im not worried bout money. I just want to know which is better, and better as in power, handling, durability, ext......... please don't say so and so is better than both. I want to know bout those two(tmaxx 3.3 and MGT 8.0). Like the pros and cons. And after market upgrades. Thank you
I have owned many T Maxx trucks. Traxxas is an excellant brand and parts are available anywhere. That's important because you are going to break parts. And Traxxas has excellent customer service which is very important as well. And there are endless aftermarket hop up parts for the TMaxx if you wish to customise the truck. I have NO cons with Traxxas and I own 5 of their RC models.
Associated is also and excellant RC manufacturer. You are on the right track with your two selections. I have never owned a MGT 8.0 but they look pretty good. I can't list any cons because I have never owned one but I do know that the electronics are not waterproof....Traxxas electronics are. Pro's just from what I know of the company are durable, popular and made of quality parts.
I know traxxas would be your best bet if you are just going to do some backyard bashing. That's what Traxxas is known for. Their ability to beat on their RC's and having them last. Not to mention that the electronics are waterproof so you can run the TMaxx in any weather conditions. That is the main selling point for me.
