Mamba Village - Mombasa
Mamba Village situated in Nyali ,mombasa , is the place to visit if you want to see crocodiles and ostriches close up, followed by a comprehensive tour of the rest of farm, and ends with the highlight of the day: a spectacular scene of blood-thirsty crocodiles fighting for food during feeding time. Spread over 30 acres, Mamba Village mainly attracts the local market. It has a man made lake with rather rickety boats and fairground equipment. There are also camel and horse rides and ostriches that you can feed. There is a rather sad lonley giraffe and an excellent collection of crocodiles who snap and leap about in a feeding frenzy when it's dinner time! There's also a collection of rabbits, guinea fowl and other animals that young children might enjoy looking at and stroking
Mamba Village has a nice campsite with clean washrooms and a covered dining room with facilities that are perfect for a group of up to 80 children and 50 adults. Security in the Mamba Village
campsite is as good as you can find in Nairobi with a perimeter fence, and guards. There is no campsite shop, however, meals and drinks are available in the main building just about 50 metres away.Other Facilities at Mamba Village are a rather uninspiring art gallery, and a large restaurant selling Nyama Choma (roasted meat). The food is served at tables with umbrellas outside on the grassy lawns, or inside at tables set out in an African style interior. At weekends the place gets quite busy with a large number of local kenyans and overall Mamba Village is an interesting place which is great to visit with small children
The Mamba Village is divided into the following sections:
Crocodile Farm
Displays the age, weight and length of crocodiles. You will also see hatchlings to 5 meter long "big daddy" --the man eating monster, sun basking along the tropical garden trail. At five pm. daily, the crocodiles are fed and you can see them jump high in the air to snap the meat.
Camel Riding
Unforgettable and unique Somali camel riding experience at camel's headquarters "Mamba Desert Express".
Horse Riding
Riding lessons and, beach riding tours, everyday from 8.00 am. up to 6.00 pm.
Mamba Restaurant
Overlooking the crocodile pond, a unique "a la carte" restaurant serves game meat like crocodile, ostrich and zebra meat among other delicacies.
Crocodile Bar
Cozy and romantic bar. Open everyday from 9.00 am.
Floral Magic
Beautiful collection of plants and flowers specializing in orchids and aquatic flora. They also have on display carnivorous species, marine aquarium and snakes.
Mamba Village in Nairobi
The Mamba Village in Nairobi is a good place to spend a few hours in the Kenyan capital.
Mamba Village is a great place to see crocodiles, ostriches, giraffes, and even rabbits in Nairobi. Upon arrival you can hire a guide to take you around the village or just walk around at your own pace.
The crocodile ponds are the highlight of any trip to Mamba Village. The crocodiles are separated into different groups, including one enclosure for the small baby crocs.
Beyond Mamba Village's crocodile population, there is an ostrich enclosure and a giraffe pen. There is also a large lake in the middle of Mamba Village where you can rent paddle boats or take boat rides (100 KES for adults, 50 KES for children).
Mamba Village offers a range of gift and souvenir shops, as well as a restaurant, a club, and a buffet lunch on the lawn by the lake. There are event and function spaces available as well.

Venom energy drink made me sick.?
so i had the black mamba venom drink for the first time yesterday during work, about one hour after during work i threw up what i ate for break, and ive only thrown up twice in my life(im 18) i also havent had many energy drinks besides monster which venom kinda tastes a lot alike, so here i am, about 12 hours after work, and cannot stop throwing up, i cant drink anything or eat beacuse im not hungry, and when i try it just comes back up. Anyone know what could have made me throw up from this drink? Any recommendations on how to fix my stomach? I read online crackers should work, which i ate 20 minutes ago and i havent thrown up yet. So maybe thats what i needed. If it doesnt gross you out, i was throwing up something of a green liquid which i didnt drink. Thank you all for your help.:]
I don't know why it made you throw up but it's probably your body's way of saying to leave that stuff alone! Your stomach recognized it as bad stuff. The green stuff could have been a reaction from your stomach acid and the drink. And the caffeine suppresses your appetite so that's why you weren't hungry. Energy drinks serve no real purpose other than a fad among people wanting a fashionable way to stay awake. The negative affects are not worth it. There are better and certainly healthier ways to stay awake.
