Subaru is a name I've been hearing more and more lately. Consistent improvements to the brand's lineup have led to many accolades and much buzz over cars like the Forester and the Impreza. But can Subaru ride the momentum into a new role as leader of the automotive industry? If you ask West Palm Beach Subaru Impreza dealers, they will tell you that the brand is already there. A 1.5 inch wider track in the front and the rear gives the WRX a decidedly more aggressive stance that helps set it into a class all its own. Well, it's good to see a brand like Subaru taking advantage of the relative disarray that is the automotive market. Following last year's major sales hit and the recession, it seems like the industry's leadership has been up for grabs. While Toyota had been a pretty strong leader, the recent rash of recalls has permanently marred the reputation of the Japanese manufacturer, and the industry is up for grabs yet again. Now is the time for Subaru to move in and grab the top spot, so look for the brand to make a move.

Would angel eyes fit on a 1996 impreza non wrx?
I'm just curious as many of the lights I come across state "fits all 91-02 Subaru impreza models" but then later says "all impreza wrx models" and I'm not gonna spend up to 400 bucks on lights that I can't even use.

The standard angel eyes will fit for all 93 to 2001 model of subaru, typicall the GC model.
But the problem in the earlier model, the front grille is more rounded and the hood of the car is rounded at the front, you may end up replaced the angel eye and the front grille.
The angel eye for 1996, unless your 1996 is the one showed in the price 20071029, (or wagon) without the hood bonnet, then your angel eyes will not be direct fit.
But if your 1996 model had the bonnets similar to the picture of the RS, then the angel eyes is direct fit.
Also, the angel eyes sold in USA are not that expensive at all, 400 bucks seemed to be twice as much. I got mine (but later replaced due to beam pattern), it was 240 a pair without the bulbs and HID hook up. (Sent you a link on ebay with HID set up, still cost aound 220 now.
