How do you change your wifi password?
So I've got Thomson TG7827 I've got the SSID, WEP (hex), WPA PSK, WIRELESS PIN, Bulk, MAC and the Modem acess code.
But I don't know how to change the wifi password, or name, how do you do it?
You will need to access your routers web interface by loading up an internet browser and typing in the ip address of your default gateway. You can find this by going to Start and then go to Run, then type in cmd and enter or if you have vista or windows 7, just type cmd in the search box of the start menu and press enter. Once the black box comes up type ipconfig and look for your gateway address. Once you are in the web interface you will have to do some looking around, but it should be under wireless/wireless security settings. Your ssid is your wifi name and your passphrase should be your password. Most routers use 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 as the address for the web interface.
