How to Find the Right Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour
The Grand Canyon is among the most majestic places on earth. Each and every year, more than five million people visit it. Most will see it from the edge or from one of the famed lookouts. The West Rim

It's here where choppers are allowed to fly 4,000 feet to the bottom and land. These rides include a Champagne picnic and feature a lot of time to discover the canyon's ancient floor. Extended versions of this trip include a smooth water float trip down the Colorado River.
The Grand Canyon Glass Bridge has been a hit with travelers since launching in 2007. Made of glass panels that cost $200,000 each, the bridge lets you walk some 70 feet beyond the edge of the West Rim. Equally exciting is knowing you are standing 4,000 feet over the Colorado River. The South Rim
The South Rim is the spot to go for scenery. Purists refer to it as the "real" Grand Canyon. It's the most picturesque rim and it's most likely that any shots you've seen of the canyon were taken here. Grand Canyon tours by helicopter start from Grand Canyon Airport in Tusayan, a town situated just 10 minutes from the front gates of the National Park.
The heliport in particular is a active place. Three Grand Canyon helicopter tour companies operate here. The rim's airspace is stringently controlled. Total flight time is thirty minutes.
I explained earlier that Vegas travelers to the South Rim can opt to arrive here by airplane or tour bus. I strongly advise the former. The airplane ride is only 45-minutes and tracks the Colorado River east to airport in Tusayan. Once you land at Tusayan, you'll have seen half of the canyon. The return portion of this tour is a sunset flight. Plus you'll be back on The Strip in time for your evening reservations.

Which one is in more high demand helicopter pilots or airplane pilots?
After I am in the army for awhile I plan on going to school to become a pilot but here's the thing which one is in higher demand and gets better retirement benefits?
I am from texas and I am going into the U.S. Army
I disagree with the statement that there aren't many places to find helicopter jobs. You could work tours, news, police, air ambulance, photography, charter, offshore oil work, etc. There is of course a higher absolute quantity of airplane jobs, but there are ten times more airplane pilots too.
All other things being equal, I think the job market for helicopter pilots in the US is better than for airplane pilots. You don't really hear about frequent furloughs in the helicopter industry. However, there are so many little niches in the aviation world that it is hard to make broad generalizations, and regardless it is always hard for new pilots to find work. Plus, the economy is always fluctuating with demand in any given sector changing from time to time. There is no way to predict what it will look like in 5 years.
In my opinion the bottom line is that the difference in the job market is not great enough to provide a compelling basis for your decision. You should choose based on which one you enjoy more, not which one has a marginally better job market at any given moment.
By the way, if you are planning to go into the Army anyway, consider their flight program for helicopter pilots.
