can you mount a cpu heatsink with fan facing up?
i bought a antec 902 case and it has a very nice 200mm fan on the top. is it possible to mount any 3rd party heatsink on my motherboard so that the airflow faces upward towards the big fan?
Bad idea. The fan blows IN to the heatsink to cool it off, but it won't be effective cause the rising heat comes back up. You would want to face the heatsink/fan downward, so the fan can push the hot air easily upward, or towards any easy exit
