BlackBerry is a line of smart phone devices developed by Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM). While including typical smart phone applications (address book, calendar, to-do lists, etc., as well as telephone capabilities on newer models), the BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive Internet e-mail wherever it can access a mobile network of certain cellular phone carriers. It commands a 20.8% share of worldwide smart phone sales, making it the second most popular platform after Nokia's Symbian OS, and is the most popular smart phone among U.S. business users. The service is available in North America and in most European countries. The first BlackBerry device was introduced in 1999 as a two-way pager. In 2002, the more commonly known smartphone BlackBerry was released, which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, Internet faxing, Web browsing and other wireless information services. It is an example of a convergent device. And now the Replica Blackberry is more and more popular. Today I want to introduce the 8900 BlackBerry to you. 8900 is the "thinnest and lightest full-QWERTY BlackBerry Smartphone" to date. At 112g (3.9oz) in weight and measuring 109.5mm x 60.5mm x 13.5mm (4.3" x 2.4" x .5") in size, the new Curve is basically the same size and weight as the original, though it is appreciably thinner.The body design is actually gorgeous, combining the Bold's sleek, noir face and brilliant screen with the 8300's graphite-hued back and silver accents. If there's one glaring flaw in the chassis' design, it's that the top of the phone slants abruptly, making it hard to press the Lock and Mute buttons — especially since the phone is noticeably longer than its predecessor. In fact, that extra bit at the top made us seriously consider rounding the edge off ourselves with a power sander, just to revert back to the Curve's near-perfect curves. The 8900's screen is bright and large, and its full Qwerty keypad offers a reliable and straightforward typing experience. Each key on the keypad is raised at one edge, providing enough definition to find them easily with your thumb. As with previous BlackBerry Curve handsets, the 8900 houses a trackball that lets you scroll through emails, Web sites and other areas of the interface. Once you've mastered the trackball, which doesn't take too long, you'll find it a convenient navigation tool. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 functions on any of the four major GSM/EDGE network bands, but lacks 3G connectivity completely. WiFi access will help mitigate that omission, but even the WiFi data speeds seem sluggish at times. The Curve 8900 supports USB mass storage emulation and Bluetooth connectivity for headsets as well as stereo headphones. And 9500 Blackberry is another good choice. It might be a little heavier than expected (155g, including battery). The metallic back cover seems to be taking its toll on the weight of the device. Still, Storm 9500 is not such a big handset as compared with the HTC Touch HD or even the iPhone 3G, measuring only 112.5 x 62.2 x 14mm. The 3.25-inch screen itself is bright, colorful and high-resolution (480 x 360). Video playback is sharp and smooth, and the extra pixels on the large screen means eye fatigue won't be much of an issue. Unfortunately, as far we can tell there's no hardware video acceleration, which shouldn't be a problem for correctly-compressed video, but there aren't any Apple or Nokia-style swooping transitions in, we don't have high hopes for gaming, and stuff like browsing through photos and and panning around web pages is fairly choppy. The lack of hardware acceleration could also cut down on battery life, which RIM is pegging at 15 days of standby and 5.5 hours of talk, but hasn't fleshed out with media playback figures juliet-myreplicaphone http://www.myreplicaphone.com
