Fuel Saving Tips And Recommendations For Better Vehicle Performance
----------
Recently, I have been earnestly working to dig up any extra proposals for getting lower gas consumption and I dug up a bonus. The tips that basically work to enhance gas mileage also save you on unnecessary auto repairs brought on by bad driving habits.
If you are not paying loads of dollars each year to maintain your car under fender to fender warranty or you have a masochistic streak which aberratedly enjoys pulling your dysfunctional auto for repairs and being held up without a gun with further vehicle repairs and having your automobile sit for days at the mechanic while you take public transportation and stress about it like a new daddy-to-be in a hospital waiting room then doubtless care to listen up these solutions. Saving cash on gasoline and on auto repairs are cousins.
Consider what better things you might do with the bucks that you are wasting on further work needing to be done on your vehicle. Take a vacation? Purchase a better vehicle? Install a home theater system? Fully there are better things you can do with your cash than tipping it into your vehicle!
Use lower octane gas. I always considered that the octane levels were a trick and I recently had that verified by an expert. Not that there's no difference, just the difference in performance is neglible in most cars. Buy the lowest octane petrol that is applicable for your auto. Unless your auto needs premium fuel, pumping your car with high octane petrol is a waste of cash. That dear premium petrol will not benefit your car's gas performance seriously, so let it go and use your cash on a dashboard Jesus or a nice night out or something!
If you do not know what octane of gas works best for your vehicle, crack open your owner's manual. as your automobile does not knock or ping when you fill up with lower octane, you're good to drive on this much less expensive petrol. Not being gouged by expensive premium petrol could save you hundreds of bucks a year. This is clearly the most no-brainer fuel saving advice of all. Do not buy the more expensive gasoline if your vehicle does not need it. Filling up your auto is not about status!
Don't top off when filling your automobile's gasoline tank. Any extra petrol is just going to seep out. Why waste your money paying for petrol your automobile will not use? Stop filling at the 1st indication that claims your tank is full.
When you top off your fuel tank there's a chance that fuel will evaporate or will be overflowed and spill out. This is just waste.
There are more issues you will encounter when topping off your fuel tank. Gasoline expands as it becomes hotter. This is completely a big situation during the summer or in warm weather climates. Gasoline pumped from underground tanks will be cooler about than the air. As it becomes hotter in your fuel tank it takes up more space. As the fuel takes up more space it needs extra space in your fuel tank.
If you top off your tank, then there's no additional room for the fuel to expand. Where will the expanding fuel go? It may head towards your car's vapor collection system. That could easily muck up this system leading it malfunction. If this occurs your automobile will perform inefficeintly and have high fuel emissions.
The fuel that expands and is lost is fuel that you have paid for. Again that implies that you are buying fuelthat gets wasted. Your cost of fuel has gone up again.
Many other tips are simply paradoxical or wrong.... Some articles related do not use your airconditioner which is neat if you live in Florida or it is one hundred degrees in Manhattan! Then I found one article that suggests to keep the car's windows open for town driving but to keep your AC on when you are on the parkways because having the windows open while driving above 55MPH adds drag which lessens gas mileage. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares? Does it improve gas mileage? No, possibly not!
The most real solution to reduce your gas consumption, with fuel costs in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to convert to a hydrogen hybrid engine!
Benefits
What most people want to know about, miles per gallon improves when a How2SaveFuel.Com hydrogen hybrid system is installed. The amounts alternate considerably, but an average of 25 to 35% mpg boost is normal Additionally, consumers notice an increase in horsepower and torque. A dynamometer test run recently on a 1989 Ford F250 Truck increased the horsepower from 181.75 to 188.75 and the torque from 266.20 ft pounds to 293.53. That equates to 7 more horsepower and 27.33 more foot pounds of torque.
But perhaps the biggest boost for all of us, especially observable on older vehicle engines, is a powerful lessening in toxic vehicular emissions.
The advantage on a tested Ford F250 result in less waste, decrease in nitrous emissions and carbon emission went down to nothing, and this Ford's "before" scores were considered passable. This is great news for all, whether you believe in climate change or global warming or not since we can all agree less pollution would be a good thing
But with the "side-benefits" of increased gas mileage (mpg) and horsepower which also point to future diminished reliance upon fossil fuel from other countries how2savefuel.com is pointing and leading the way towards a better future economically, environmentally and in every aspect of life which is affected by automobile fuel

Should Canada get another NHL team, and if so, where?
Citing "a secret NHL report detailing the ticket revenues of its 30 teams," a recent news report reveals that the six Canadian hockey teams account for "31 per cent of the $1.1 billion (U.S.) in league ticket revenue." Many are using this news to renew calls to have another NHL team in Canada.
What do you think? Should Canada have another NHL team, and if so, where should it be?

The most logical choice would be southern Ontario, in the Kitchner-Waterloo area. The population growth is off the charts, and with Leafs tickets an overpriced pipe dream, a second team would make every sense.
In the short run they would probably have to play at Copps, and then move into a purpose-built facility in K-W.
My point of contention is that there are more teams in the NY/NJ area (three) and the state of California (three) than in the province of Ontario (two).
Winnipeg and Quebec City are not sustainable (Winnipeg being a romantic choice though), for Quebec City the tax situation is a huge non-starter.
Adding a 7th Canadian team would also, in theory at least, make the next round of Canadian rights fee bidding interesting. Would Global/CTV try to come in and bid for the CBC package given a second GTA franchise, and what of the cable package?
The wild card is that the Canadian teams have had a huge boost with the exchange rate, which was murder several years ago. Obviously if we're back to 62 cent CDN this is a nonstarter.
The corollary is that the impact in the US would be negligible, at best as the big-market US teams are not relocation targets. Plus, the free-to-air broadcaster pays zero upfront rights fees (NBC).
It's time for the NHL to realize that its "Southern Strategy" has been, at best, a mixed blessing. Sure, teams like Dallas, San Jose, and (to a limited extent) Anaheim could be called successes, Atlanta, Florida, Nashville are all disasters (poor attendance, money losing, tv ratings are poor). Carolina and Tampa, despite winning Cups, have very fickle fan bases. Phoenix should be doing better. Minnesota and Denver aren't southern but made sense and both teams have done well.
