Bugs in bedroom/house? Help!?

I have been having daddy long-leg type or similar bugs, silver crawlers?, and small to medium black bugs with huge antennas mostly in my bedroom recently. It has gotten to the point where I am sleeping on the couch in fear! (I am terrified of bugs) Starting tomorrow morning, I am going to try to get rid of them and prevent them. Any tips?
P.S> These bugs are really hard to kill, even smashing them or spraying them leaves them still crawling around.
