can i build my own tie bar for a rock crawler?
i need something like a tie bar i guess that is what is called? to hold the axle to the frame. could i use a steel pipe from lowes. like a 1/2" pipe if i need to reinforce it couldn't i put a steel rod in the inside. Also what size tubing should i use for the chassis?
i need tubing that is strong and inexpensive. it doesn't matter about how much it weighs. mainly im building it for mud. use not much for hills.
why wont anyone answer my question 
yes you can build your own suspension parts and chassy although it will be costly if you do it correctly,chromoly tubing is best its is light and strong for its size the down side is price(very expensive)then you have to weld the joints with mig or tig if you make a mistake throw them pieces away,In the end I suggest to get someone else to build it or buy one made(rolling chassy)
