2) Invented t.v and the computer
3) The micro-chip and the V-chip
4) Democracy
5) Goverment Corruption
6) Sponge bob
7) The hamburger
8) the toe-nail cliper
9) Aqua man
10) pizza ... "not realy"
11) George bush...(thats one of the faults in america)

15) barney and tellytubbys
16) And the bricks
17) Porn
18) wal-mart
19) Mc. Donalds (we sure do use that alot 8P)
20) and much more so how are we stupid please...??? post

1) We won wars...Revolutionary, WW1, WW2, iffy on vietnam (some ways we won some ways we lost some ways we tied)-
In the last 30 years, we've lost the Vietnam War, The War on
Drugs.

2) Invented t.v and the computer-
No one person invented the Internet as we know it today.
Photographs by wire as well as fiber optics and radar, demonstrated a mechanical scanning device that was an early precursor to modern television. Belin’s machine took flashes of light and directed them at a selenium element connected to an electronic device that produced sound waves. These sound waves could be received in another location and remodulated into flashes of light on a mirror.
The credit as to who was the inventor of modern television really comes down to two different people in two different places both working on the same problem at about the same time: Vladimir Kosma Zworykin, a Russian-born American inventor working for Westinghouse, and Philo Taylor Farnsworth, a privately backed farm boy from the state of Utah.

3) The micro-chip and the V-chip-
The V-chip was invented by Professor Tim Collings of Canada.
Two Americans did invent the microchip. That's one right so far.

4) Democracy-
history of democracy traces back from its origins in ancient world to its re-emergence and rise from the 17th century to the present day.
5) Goverment Corruption-
This has been around for centuries. Far longer than the U.S. has been in existence.
6) Sponge bob-
Stephen Hillenburg (born August 21, 1961, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, USA) is an American animator and is best known as the creator of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants. That's two you have right.
7) The hamburger-
The “hamburger” or “Hamburg steak” is said to have been served at Delmonico’s Restaurant in New York in 1834. But it was served on a plate, not as a sandwich. You're up to three now.
8) the toe-nail cliper-
I can find no definitive answer on this one.
9) Aqua man-
A cartoon character who has played almost no roll in our society, but true.

10) pizza ... "not realy"-
The pizza could have been invented by the Phoenicians, the Greeks, Romans, or anyone who learned the secret of mixing flour with water and heating it on a hot stone.

11) George bush...(thats one of the faults in america)-
This wasn't an "invention." This was an error.

12) The Atomic Bomb-
Wow! Am I ever proud of this one, too. :( That's six confirmed.

13) And we make wars big big wars haha-
Actually, no, we did not make the two biggest wars.

14) and bullying-
No, going on in the world long before the U.S. We have perfected it.

15) barney and tellytubbys-
Now, this is something to be proud of. NOT.

16) And bricks-
The Mesopotamians

Perhaps best known for their use of base-60, rediscovered tablets have allowed historians to discover a lot about Babylonian numerals.

There has always been a great debate as to who kicked off civilisation: was it the Egyptians, the Greeks or the Romans? Well, actually, none of them did. Human history began in the great alluvial plain between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, with its rich and immensely fertile soil: a land known as Mesopotamia. The people that dwelled here eight thousand years ago had learned to irrigate the land with canals and ditches, and were keen farmers. From this came plenty, which relieved man of the need to fight for survival. The Assyrian, Babylonian and Sumerian civilisations flourished here in an area stretching from modern Turkey, to western Syria, and Iraq.

But what did they do for us? For a start, they invented writing, with the oldest book, the epic of 'Gilgamesh', written around 4,500 years ago. They also gave us the first written laws - apparently to restrain 'drunkenness' in the population; a side effect of another of their innovations, beer.

They invented brick, which they produced in millions to build the first cities and their 'Ziggurat' temples. In warfare they gave us the first professional army and invented the tank or siege engine, and it was here that the wheel was invented; and then the chariot in 4,000 BC.

They observed the movement of the stars, and created the Zodiac, thereby being responsible for both astrology and astronomy.

The list goes on – the reed boat and the sail, glass blowing... They even came up with the electric battery, although no one is quite sure what they did with it.

17) Porn-
Pornography was not actually "invented" but defined. In the days of Oliver Cromwell's puritan rule in England (1649-58) and the attempt of the "Barebones Parliament" to turn England into a "godly republic" many stories of romance were banned, but only ten years later explicit writings with heavings, moanings, groanings and shrieks of delight on the part of the women were appearing without difficulty.
Naked people have been around for quite some time, porns lengthy pre-modern history, which includes ancient cave paintings and Greek pottery. (Ever since people evolved/ were invented, in fact.) It wasn't until 1845, however, that the first nude photos were circulated at opticians, instrument makers and art dealerships (gee, how about those times when you could go pick up a pair of glasses and some porn from the optician? The good old days...). The original porn photos were predominantly made by and for men, and the images varied from sedate back/butt view photos to hetero and lesbian sex. To 'please' the men-folk of the day, the producers commissioned a lot of pictures of fellatio and hetero sexual acts. Unlike modern porn, the depiction of lesbian acts were more rare than male homosexual acts, in spite of the fact that the latter was a crime in those days. In the 1870s postcard porn was invented, and from 1890 to 1930 it was hugely popular. The cards were the result of developments in the mass production of photography, and showed more 'lewd' images. Previously, it was common to take the original photo, then take a photo of that one, and so on, to get multiple copies. This is why many early porn images have pin holes in the corners, as the photo was taken of another stuck on a wall. In France, from 1919 to 1939, over 20,000,000 'nudie' postcards were sold.

18) wal-mart-
My favorite on your list to be proud of.

19) Mc. Donalds-
Another one to be, oh, so proud of.
