The alarm is a Chapman/ Code Alarm, not sure if factory installed. Would like to know how to reset.
sound like some wires might be cross in the locking system, maybe in the door, if it looks like it has ever been worked on. And you can reset almost anything on a newer vechicle by taking the battery cables off for about 15 minutes, then putting them back on.
