In the earliest conception I had ideas of working a 4 cell Lipo in the 3500 MA variety. This hatch would have worked ideal. However the design flew on a 5S pack as I could not achieve the functionality on 4 cells I desperately wanted.
The all up bodyweight of the model is 6 lbs all set to fly. The Energy 46 E-Flite Outrunner can make 1200W for a expense of 64Amps. Equally the motor and Max Amps brand name 5 cell LiPo pack appear down cool just after a ten moment flight.
Maiden Flight Report
